Transparency obligations
provided for by Law no. 124 of 2017
The annual law for the market and competition provides, starting from 2019, specific transparency obligations for entities receiving contributions and subsidies from public administrations
Article 1, paragraphs 125-129 of the Annual Market and Competition Law (Law No. 124 of 4 August 2017) requires that, starting in 2018, environmental protection associations, consumer and user associations, as well as associations, non-profit organizations, and foundations that maintain economic relationships with public administrations (or similar entities) or companies controlled or participated by them, including listed companies, are required to publish, on their websites or digital portals, by February 28 of each year, information relating to grants, contributions, paid positions, and in any case economic benefits of any kind received from the same public administrations and the same entities in the previous year.
