Notice for bank transfers

Dear Parents,
Starting October 9, 2025, European Regulation (EU) 204/886 came into force, which concerns, among other things, the processing of payments by bank transfer. The most significant change is the introduction of the so-called "Verification of Payee" (VOP), i.e., verification of the beneficiary.
With this system, banks will have to verify that the data entered by the sender of the transfer (name and IBAN of the recipient) match those in the archives of the payment service provider (PSP) receiving the transaction.
The customer will be notified of any discrepancies. In any case, the user can decide whether to proceed with the transaction, but in the event of inconsistencies, the bank will not be held responsible for any errors or financial losses.
We therefore ask you to update the name under which you saved our school's IBAN in your online banking with the following wording:
